ABBREVIATIONS (US TERMS): sl-st slip stitch, ch chain, sc single crochet, hdc half-double crochet, dc double crochet, tr treble crochet, bp back post, fp front post, st stitch, sts stitches, bpsc3tog – insert hook from back to front and from front to back around 1st indicated st, yarn over and pull up a loop, 2 loops on hook, repeat around next 2 indicated sts, 4 loops on hook, yarn over and pull through 4 loops. bpsc5tog – insert hook from back to front and from front to back around 1st indicated st, yarn over and pull up a loop, 2 loops on hook, repeat around next 4 indicated sts, 6 loops on hook, yarn over and pull through 6 loops.
