Crochet blanket MiniMe

For this blanket, you can use any type of yarn and make it in any size you need by attaching more or fewer elements.

This blanket is made in weight 3, light, DK type yarn (Alize Superlana Klasik). Hook: 3.5mm. Final size: 100×100 cm/39×39 inches. (White 3 skeins, Navy 2 skeins, Powder 3 skeins)

For my blanket, I made 9 octagons and 4 squares.

JOIN

To join all elements you will be working around octagons and attaching as you go squares and octagons repeating the same repeat.

Join with a standing sc in any 1st fpdc of 2fpdc of the corner (J1.1)*Ch1, sc in next 21 sts (J1.2) *Repeat ** 8 times, omit last sc, join to standing sc with a sl-st, fasten off, and secure ends. If you are working along the side where you need to attach another element the repeat is the same, but after ch1 you need to remove your hook from the loop and insert it from front to back in ch1 space of the element you are attaching, and into the dropped loop, and pull through (J1.3)sc in next 21 sts of the octagonal you are working around, but after each sc remove hook from the loop, insert it from front to back in corresponding st of the element you are attaching and dropped loop and pull through(J1.4) (J1.5) (J1.6)

Continue joining elements. Note, the repeat starts with ch1, and ends with 21st sc, so if you are attaching an element, no matter square or another octagonal, you will start attaching sides with ch1, and end with 21st sc. (J1.7) (J1.8) (J1.9) (J1.10) (J1.11) (J1.12) (J1.13) (J1.14) (J1.15)

too bad I can’t print or download this pattern I would have liked to make it. This cite offers free patterns but you can;t find a way to print them

jackie from first comment, being free means you can use on designers site, which sometimes generates income like the ads but if you want printable ad free then purchasing is what you do. if you re read your comment it does not say thank you to the designer for giving you the opportunity to do without purchasing so it comes across as you are very selfish. if you look at other quality designers site’s it the same thing, free patterns are free to view and do from the blog, unless participating in blog hops etc. It would be really nice of you to appologise and maybe read blog page terms and conditions before moaning. To Veroniker, I love the blanket and its very king to let us do for free
