Hello Crochet Friends,
Here is another square for a 25 different squares blanket. Like most of my squares, it has a flower motif in the center and a beautiful frame around it. There are some tricky moments, but I think this square is easy to crochet if you are following instructions. If you are going to use this square for another crochet project, not a 25 different squares blanket, you can replace two last rounds with one round of dc.

Abbreviations: st – stitch, sl-st – slip stitch, ch – chain, sc – single crochet, hdc – half double crochet, dc – double crochet, tr – treble crochet, fp – front post, bp – back post, fl – front loop, bl – back loop. puff st – Yarn over, insert hook in indicated st or space, yarn over and pull through, repeat 4 times, 9 loops on hook, yarn over and pull through all 9 loops. popcorn – 5dc in same st, remove hook from loop and insert from front to back of 1st dc and into dropped loop and pull through. To close popcorn ch 1. Ch 1 counts as a part of popcorn st. Cluster of 2dc -Yarn over, insert hook into indicated stitch or space, yarn over and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops. Repeat once more in same stitch or space. 3 loops on hook. Yarn over and pull through all 3 loops. Cluster of 3dc -Yarn over, insert hook into indicated stitch or space, yarn over and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops. Repeat twice more in same stitch or space. 4 loops on hook.
