Abbreviations: st – stitch, sl-st – slip stitch, ch – chain, sc – single crochet, hdc – half double crochet, dc – double crochet, tr – treble crochet, fp – front post, bp – back post, tbl – third back loop, clusters of 2tr – yarn over twice, insert hook into indicated stitch or space, yarn over and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops twice. Repeat once more in the same stitch or space. 3 loops on hook. Yarn over and pull through all 3 loops. clusters of 3tr – Yarn over twice, insert hook into indicated stitch or space, yarn over and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops twice. Repeat two more in the same stitch or space. 4 loops on the hook. Yarn over and pull through all 4 loops
ROUND 6 (Color A). Join with a standing tblsc in any 5th dc (R6.1)(R6.2), *tblsc in next 3 sts, ch1, skip next 3 sts, tblsc in next 4 sts (R6.3)*, repeat ** 8 times, omit last tblsc. Join to standing tblsc with a sl-st. Do not fasten off. (R6.4)
Stitch count: 56 tblsc, 8 ch1 spaces
ROUND 7 (Color A). ch1 (does not count as stitch), sc in same st, *ch1, skip next 3 sts, in ch1 space (cluster of 2tr, ch3, cluster of 3tr, ch3, cluster of 2tr), ch1, skip next 3 sts (1st skipped st may be hidden), sc in next st (R7.1)*, repeat ** 8 times, omit last sc. Join to 1st sc with a sl-st, fasten off, and secure ends. (R7.2)
