Abbreviations: st – stitch, sl-st – slip stitch, ch – chain, sc – single crochet, hdc – half double crochet, dc – double crochet, tr – treble crochet, fp – front post, bp – back post, tbl – third back loop

ROUND 54 (Color B). Join with a standing sc in any 1st marked middle of the side sc of round 45, *sc in next 7 sts, hdc in next 3 sts, dc in next st of round 45 (it falls in stitch of round 45 where the previous round was started), hdc in 1st sc of round 53, hdc in next 6 sts, dc in next 18 sts (R54.1), tr in next 17 sts, (2tr in next st, tr in next st) 3 times, 2tr in next 2 sts, (tr in next st, 2tr in next st) 3 times, tr in next 17 sts (R54.2), dc in next 18 sts, hdc in next 7 sts, dc in st of round 45 where the previous round was ended, hdc in next 3 sts of round 45, sc in next 7 sts (R54.3)*, repeat ** 4 times, omit last sc. Join to standing sc with a sl-st. Do not fasten off.
For the next rounds, each time place markers in the stitch/chain made around, in or above marked stitch.
Stitch count: 56 sc, 80 hdc, 152 dc, 224 tr

ROUND 55 (Color B). ch2 (does not count as stitch), hdc in same st, *hdc in next 55 sts, 2hdc in next st, hdc in next 5 sts, 2hdc in next st, hdc in next 4 sts, 2hdc in next st, hdc in next 5 sts, 2hdc in next st, hdc in next 55 sts*, repeat ** 4 times, omit last sc. Join to standing sc with a sl-st, fasten off, and secure ends. For the best result, you can end this round with a needle join. (R55.1) Don’t forget about markers.
Stitch count: 528 hdc
