Abbreviations: st – stitch, sl-st – slip stitch, ch – chain, sc – single crochet, hdc – half double crochet, dc – double crochet, tr – treble crochet, fp – front post, bp – back post, tbl – third back loop
ROUND 16 (Color E). Join with a standing bpsc around any 3rd dc of 5dc group, *bpsc around next 12 sts, fpsc around next st (puff st), bpsc around next 13 sts (R16.1)*, repeat ** 8 times, omit last bpsc. Join to standing bpsc with a sl-st. DO NOT fasten off. (R16.2)
Stitch count: 8 fpsc, 200 bpsc
ROUND 17 (Color E). (cluster of 3dtr – yarn over thrice, insert hook into indicated stitch or space, yarn over and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops thrice. Repeat two more in same stitch or space. 4 loops on hook. Yarn over and pull though all 4 loops)
ch1 (does not count as stitch), sc in same st, *sc in next 3 sts, hdc in next st, skip next 2 sts, in next st (cluster of 2dc, ch1, cluster of 2dc), ch1, skip next 2 sts, cluster of 2tr in next st, ch1, skip next 2 sts, cluster of 3dtr in next st, ch1, skip next 2 sts, cluster of 2tr in next st, ch1, skip next 2 sts, in next st (cluster of 2dc, ch1, cluster of 2dc), skip next 2 sts, hdc in next st, sc in next 4 sts (R17.1)*, repeat ** 8 times, omit last sc. Join to 1st dc with a sl-st. DO NOT fasten off.
Stitch count: 136 dc, 56 fpdc
ROUND 19 (Color E). ch2 (does not count as stitch), 2dc in same st, *dc in next 23 sts, 2dc in next st (R19.1)*, repeat ** 8 times, omit last 2dc. Join to 1st dc with a sl-st, fasten off, and secure ends.
