ROUND 38 (Color A). Join with a standing dc in marked ch1 space (mark this st), *[fpdc around next st, dc in ch1 space] 5 times, fpdc around next st, 2dc in ch1 space, {fpdc around next st, dc in ch1 space} 10 times, fpdc around next st, 2dc in ch1 space, [fpdc around next st, dc in ch1 space] 6 times (R38.1)*, repeat ** 8 times, omit last dc. Join to standing dc with a sl-st, fasten off, and secure ends. *Skip 95 sts after marked sts, mark next st*. Repeat ** 3 times. You will have 4 marked sts. These stitches are your middle of the corner stitches (R38.2)

ROUND 39 (Color D). Join with a standing bpsc around any marked st, *ch1, fpsc around next st, ch1, bpsc around next st*, repeat ** 192 times, omit last bpsc. Join to standing bpsc with a sl-st, fasten off, and secure ends. (R39.1)
