Abbreviations: st – stitch, sl-st – slip stitch, ch – chain, sc – single crochet, hdc – half double crochet, dc – double crochet, tr – treble crochet, fp – front post, bp – back post, tbl – third back loop
ROUND 9. (COLOR B)
Join with a standing bpsc around any 5th dc, *bpsc around next 4 sts, in ch2 space (hdc, 3dc), fpdc around next st (cluster of 4dc), in ch2 space (3dc, hdc), bpsc around next 5 sts (R9.1)*, repeat ** 8 times, omit last bpsc. Join to standing bpsc with a sl-st. (R9.2)
Stitch count: 72 bpsc, 8 fpdc, 16 hdc, 48 dc
ROUND 10. (COLOR B)
ch1 (does not count as stitch), sc in same st, *sc in next 2 sts, skip next 2 sts, dc in next 2 sts, 2dc in next 5 sts, dc in next 2 sts, skip next 2 sts, sc in next 3 sts (R10.1)*, repeat ** 8 times, omit last sc. Join to 1st sc with a sl-st. (R10.2)
Stitch count: 40 sc, 112 dc
ROUND 11. (COLOR B)
ch1 (does not count as stitch), hdc in same st, *skip next 4 sts, cluster of 3dc in next st, {ch1, cluster of 3dc in next st} 9 times, skip next 4 sts, hdc in next st (R11.1)*, repeat ** 8 times, omit last hdc. Join to 1st hdc with a sl-st, fasten off and secure ends. (R11.2)
Stitch count: 8 hdc, 80 cluster of 3dc, 72 ch1 spaces
