Abbreviations: st – stitch, sl-st – slip stitch, ch – chain, sc – single crochet, hdc – half double crochet, dc – double crochet, tr – treble crochet, fp – front post, bp – back post, tbl – third back loop
ROUND 6. (COLOR A)
fpsc2tog – Insert hook from front to back and from back to front around 1st indicated st, yarn over and pull up a loop, 2 loops on hook, repeat around 2nd indicated stitch. 3 loops on hook. Yarn over and pull through all 3 loops
Join with a standing bpsc around any 6th tr of 11tr group, *bpsc around next 5 sts, fpsc2tog over next two clusters of 3tr skipping st in between, bpsc around next 6 sts (R6.1)*, repeat ** 8 times, omit last fbpsc. Join to standing bpsc with a sl-st. (R6.2)
Stitch count: 8 fpsc2tog, 88 bpsc
ROUND 7. (COLOR A)
ch1 (does not count as stitch), sc in same st, *sc in next 2 sts, in next st (hdc, dc), ch1, skip next 5 sts (two bpsc, fpsc2tog, two bpsc), in next st (dc, hdc), sc in next 3 sts (R7.1)*, repeat ** 8 times, omit last sc. Join to 1st sc with a sl-st. (R7.2)
Stitch count: 40 sc, 16 hdc, 16 dc, 8 ch1 spaces
ROUND 8. (COLOR A)
cluster of 4dc – Yarn over, insert hook into indicated stitch or space, yarn over and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops. Repeat three more times in the same stitch or space. 5 loops on hook. Yarn over and pull through all 5 loops.
ch2 (does not count as stitch), dc in same st, *dc in next 4 sts, ch2, cluster of 4dc in ch1 space, ch2, dc in next 5 sts (R8.1)*, repeat ** 8 times, omit last dc. Join to 1st dc with a sl-st, fasten off and secure ends. (R8.2)
Stitch count: 72 dc, 8 cluster of 4dc, 16 ch2 spaces
