Abbreviations: st – stitch, sl-st – slip stitch, ch – chain, sc – single crochet, hdc – half double crochet, dc – double crochet, tr – treble crochet, fp – front post, bp – back post, tbl – third back loop
ROUND 19. (COLOR D)
Join with a standing fpsc around any dc made in sc of round 17 (R19.1), *fpsc around next st, ch1, skip next 2 sts, in next st (cluster of 3dc, ch2, cluster of 3dc), ch1, skip next st, fptr around next 2 sts, ch1, skip next st, in next st (cluster of 3dc, ch2, cluster of 3dc), ch1, skip next 2 sts, fpsc around next 2 sts (R19.2)*, repeat ** 16 times, omit last fpsc. Join to standing fpsc with a sl-st, fasten off and secure ends. (R19.3) (Please note, the repeat starts with fpsc and ends with two fpsc, therefore between clusters you have three fpsc in total)
Stitch count: 48 fpsc, 64 ch1 spaces, 32 ch2 spaces, 32 fptr, 64 cluster of 3dc
ROUND 20. (COLOR C)
Join with a standing sc in any 2nd fpsc, *skip (next st and ch1 space), fpdc around next st (cluster), 5dc in ch2 space, fpdc around next st, ch4, skip (ch1, two fptr, ch1 space), fpdc around next st, 5dc in ch2 space, fpdc around next st, skip (ch1 and next sts), sc in next st (2nd fpsc) (R20.1)*, repeat ** 16 times, omit last sc. Join to standing sc with a sl-st, fasten off and secure ends. (R20.2)
Stitch count: 16 sc, 16 ch4 spaces, 64 fpdc, 160 dc
