Abbreviations: st – stitch, sl-st – slip stitch, ch – chain, sc – single crochet, hdc – half double crochet, dc – double crochet, tr – treble crochet, fp – front post, bp – back post, tbl – third back loop
ROUND 21. (COLOR D)
bpsc2tog – insert hook from back to front and from front to back around 1st indicated st, yarn over and pull up a loop, 2 loops on hook, repeat around next indicated st, 3 loops on hook, yarn over and pull through 3 loops
Join with a standing bpsc around any fpdc made before ch4 space, *ch1, working in front of ch4 space fptr around 2 fptr of round 19, ch1, skip ch4 space of round 20, bpsc around next 5 sts, bpsc2tog over next 2 sts (last dc and fpdc), ch1, skip next st (sc), bpsc2tog over next 2 sts (fpdc and 1st dc), bpsc around next 5 sts (R21.1)*, repeat ** 16 times, omit last bpsc. Join to standing bpsc with a sl-st, fasten off and secure ends. (R21.2)
Stitch count: 48 ch1 spaces, 32 bpsc2tog, 32 fptr, 160 bpsc
ROUND 22. (COLOR B)
Join with a standing popcorn in any ch1 space between two bpsc2tog, *ch7, 3sc in ch4 space of round 20, ch7, popcorn in next ch1 space between next two bpsc2tog (R22.1)*, repeat ** 16 times, omit last popcorn. Join to standing popcorn with a sl-st, fasten off and secure ends. (R22.2)
